May 1 Admission Offers

UC Med website updated today to include a timeline on the front-page.

Lists May 1st as date for initial offers. 

 

Is this real? Or has somebody forgotten to include a '5'??

 

 

The applicant manual still lists May 15, but that hasnt been updated since June 2014....

I think its actually May 1st. Makes sense. Don't forget. U of C starts end of July….we need some more time to get organized than a UofA acceptance

Yea I'm really concerned this is just an error of forgetting a digit...  

But I really hope its not an error. I need to know !!!

The fact they start sooner isn't very reassuring.

In recent years they have never released that early, but have always started late July

I spoke to Dr. Walker in person. It's ~ May 1

It's important to note that deadline to respond has not changed (May 29th), so you won't be forced to pay the deposit or accept the offer before finding out from other schools. Does anyone think U of A also releases them earlier?

This is probably why it was moved.. so people have more time to plan whether or not they should sign up for the new MCAT.

U of C just sent an email that admission decisions will  be released on April 20!!!

Well, U of A and U of C just sent a joint statement (2 emails at the same time, lol): U of C on April 20th and U of A on May 4th.

I received a notification email from U of A only. They mention the release date changes of both schools there.

 

No emails or communication received from U of C (interviewed at both).

 

I want to see my results for U of C and U of A on the same day. But its going to be so difficult to not open my email for 2 weeks lol
