So anything above 26 is considered high wait list? 

In general it moves into the mid 20s but one year it moved into the 30s.

For the most part if you are in positions 20 and under you are pretty much going to get in - highly likely to get in if you are 21-24 and 25-26 possible but you should make alternate plans and anything higher than 26 can go either way depending on the particular pool of applicants this year.

Haha I feel you. A little part of me  is slightly glad I got wait listed so I can put off paying this ridiculous non-refundable deposit.
