JohnGrisham
Why not just gain the hours in a rural-ER, and challenge the CCFP-EM exam after?

GrouchoMarx
Why not just gain the hours in a rural-ER, and challenge the CCFP-EM exam after? its a better idea but credentialism forces ppl to get ccfpem if they want a job in competitive location

JohnGrisham
why wait four years to live where you want when you can do it in one?Very good point. My preceptor didn't mention it was 400hrs each year for 4 years....she had said 400 hrs and then challenge. Regardless, still a good option if you aren't in a rush and want to just work FM, enhance skills and get paid a real salary. I wonder now, if the preceptor themselves are aware of the 4 year requirement...
