Queens Interview Discussion 2016

Hey Savac, and to other queens med students, I was wondering your opinions on whether if taking a later interview date would be detrimental to getting accepted. I mean, do you think you're scrutinized more because of greater prep time? 

 

Take whatever time is the most convenient for you. You're not going to be judged based on which weekend you choose, I promise.

Last year the rejection letters actually specified the exact number of interviews and total applicants. Is this the case this year as well? If yes, would anyone with a be kind enough to post them?

As I have received an invite and a rejection, here's what the rejection email said:

 

"This year Queen's School of Medicine has received 4,518 applications. This year the Admissions Committee will be interviewing approximately 500 candidates."
