uOttawaAdmissionsRep
Hi everyone! Congratulations on receiving an interview! The first year medical students at the University of Ottawa will be hosting mock interviews for those who received interview invites. THIS IS STUDENT RUN AND IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE FACULTY. This is a tradition that first year medical students do every year. This year, the first year medical students will be using the mock interviews as a means to fundraise for their class charity, the Pancreatic Cancer Purple Team, based in Ottawa. If you sign-up for a mock interview, we ask that you please bring a $10 cash donation that will be collected when you arrive for your interview. We thank you in advance for helping us to raise money for a great cause!! Interviews will be traditional style (not MMI) and the panel will consist of 3 medical students. The interview format is a 40 min mock interview and 15-20 min feedbacks from the medical students (1 hour long). They will be held at Roger Guindon [451 Smyth Rd] in Ottawa, between February 12th and February 19th, 2016. The mock interview specific dates and times (in 1 hour time slots) are as follows: 1) Friday Feb 12th, Time: 14h00-19h00 2) Saturday Feb 13th, Time: 9h00-14h00 3) Tuesday Feb 16th, Time: 16h00-20h00 4) Wednesday Feb 17th, Time: 14h00-19h00 5) Friday Feb 19th, Time: 14h00-19h00 The sign-up sheet (in google doc format) will be made available to you here on Predmed 101 on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 at 18h00! Sign-up will be on a first come, first serve basis. Link and email address will be provided at that time. Sign-up information/instructions: 1. evenasthefire
Moderators: if you could check in with the edit history... I definitely had people write over my sign up - potentially due to the googledoc not updating in real-time. Not sure if there's a way of looking into this. Thanks! uOttawaAdmissionsRep
Thanks for your post evenasthefire! Google documents do have a track changes feature, therefore we will be looking into cases where people wrote their names over others'.

j17f
Thanks again to those who put this on. I was questioning whether the drive from London would be worth the 40 minutes of practice. It totally was.
