hopefullyDr
My school does not give me the option. I either pick it up myself and send it (Which is not accepted by Dal) or the school will send it via standard mail I already requested it so I hope it gets from Ontario to Dal soon

Either way, make sure you confirm with them that it is sent at the right time. Dal does not make any exceptions if something comes in late! medhopeful25
This may be a dumb question, but my school already sent my transcript this week, how would I know if Dalhousie receive it? Do I have to contact them and ask?

IMislove
Where does it say we cannot send the transcript? All it says is send the official ones, they are supposed to be sealed. We can put them into some type of envelope and send to the school can we not? Whether the school does it or not should not really be the end of the world.. If so, I am an idiot lol. I guess we will see what Carolyn says when she gets back to me xD.

Trust me here
IMislove
Well that's annoying, but thanks. That's one transcript requested on its way then, one more to go.
IMislove
Yeah envelope was fine, so don't need to send it directly from school. Oh well, saves me getting another transcript from my first school at least .
HappyAndHopeful
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I can't seem to find the answer... Do transcripts have to be sent (issued) by August 15th, or RECEIVED by August 15th? Thank you!

HappyAndHopeful
Thank you! From their website: "Transcripts must indicate an issue/print date no later than August 15th, 2016." I did see that on their website, which was why I was unsure. A few scholarships I've applied to have only needed the document to be postmarked by a certain date, and I wanted to clarify because the outgoing mail where I'm from can be VERY slow. zatb5
Hey guys, I need to order a new transcript for Dal. Does the 15th deadline apply for receiving or issuing the transcript? Im not sure if it will reach before the 15th.

Aceso
I'm in a similar dilemma. I had requested my transcript with my school and specially asked them to meet the Aug 15 print date. However they didn't, and printed it on Aug 16. Does that mean my application will not be valid?
RicardoKaká
The poster above said this. "Yes I know some schools that do it that way. Either way, make sure you confirm with them that it is sent at the right time. Dal does not make any exceptions if something comes in late!" You should call in to confirm
Aceso
Thank you! I have been trying to call them for two days now. I either get transferred to a machine or it's unavailable. Sigh. I suppose now I have to wait for Monday.
