Abstracts And Conferences?

Hi all,

 

Do abstract submissions and poster presentations that are for undergraduate student conferences (ie. anyone working on a project can participate) within your school count as legitimate entries on a med app or does this only apply to more prestigious conferences involving national & international academics (ie. annual American Society for Cell Biology meeting)?

Provided they weren't a required part of one of your courses, there's nothing wrong with including submissions or presentations to local conferences.

This. Prestige makes no difference at all, but as long as this was an independent research project, and not a poster you created for an assignment then its probably fine.
