hockey_dude31
Wondering if anyone knows what GPA corresponds to different scores out of 15. I have been trying to guess based on peoples total academic score but not entirely sure.
hartk48
since they round to the nearest tenth: 4.0 = 15/15 3.9 = 14/15 3.8 = 13/15 ......
Med2000
Do they round your average GPA? Or is it a rounding of each year and then averaged, and then rounded again? I'm assuming the former, but just checking!
hartk48
Yeah, each year is rounded and then the final average is rounded as well.
ballsortahard
Even though dal is on a 4.3 scale I assume they convert to a 4.0 (for dal students), I.E. A and A+ each are a 4.0?
FrankTheTank
Nope, they convert to 4.0 using OMSAS

hockey_dude31
Anyone know how they round scores that end in .05? So would a 3.75 be rounded to 3.8 or 3.7?
PulsusParadoxus
Yes. They round to the nearest 0.1.
hartk48
for step 1 you enter your grades and it gives you immediately their adjusted GPA - so there wont be surprises on that end
Eian01
oh i thought they used cumulative average

Medis
Hi, I am on OOP waitlist this year and knows I have very little chance getting in and preparing for next cycle. My GPA are 1st year 3.85, 2nd year 3.86 3rd year 3.88 and final year (this year) 3.67. My question is, just in case I got an offer, does my final year meet the 3.7 minimum required since according to their faq "If successful in gaining admission, applicants must demonstrate that the course load and minimum GPA requirement has been maintained in the final year. " Also if I am ok to reapply for next cycle? Thanks in advance.

Since I don't have an offer and next cycle application is not online yet, I'll just leave it for now. Thanks for the reply.
