U Of A Ot

My application is still pending for UofA OT (OOP). I would accept it as a rejection as others have received offers/waitlist already. Do you think there is a little bit hope left?

I am on the same boat. I contacted U of A and I was told that waitlist applicants will be informed at the end of May and refusals will be sent in June. Yep, more waiting

I would still hold on to some hope! I'm trying to! From what I can tell on this forum only the wait list for UofA PT has gone out, so I think there is till hope for a wait list spot for OT.....

I don't think I have noticed anyone on this forum getting waitlisted for U of A's OT yet. For U of A, the deadline to accept the first round of offers is May 26th. So I guess we will hear something after that deadline. Since ORPAS decisions are out I am sure there will be people that give up seats at U of A. Fingers crossed for the rest of us. I feel your frustrations.

I was sent an email on May 11th saying I was waitlisted for U of A OT. The waitlist has 100 seats and the email states about half the waitlist got in last year. They did not say what my ranking on the waitlist was. I have already accepted an offer for the UBC Program so another spot will open up.

Does anybody know where to find the OT "handbook" for U of Alberta? I'm trying to decide between a couple schools and would like to know the various breaks we'll get between semesters (I'm out of province). If anybody has this information that'd be great

Hey guys! I made this account to let you guys know that I was just accepted off of the U of A OT waitlist. I know that being waitlisted is a tough thing. I felt that my application was not very strong, but it appears that the waitlist is definitely moving. Have hope!

hey do you know what position you were on the wait list, I called yesterday and they said I was on the lower half of the list unfortunately, so I was wondering where they are right now.

Hey all,

I received an email yesterday with an acceptance off the wait list. So keep positive guys! Apparently more than 50% of the wait list last year was accepted.

On another note, anyone know how technical/science-based this program is going to be?

I know I'm replying a bit late- just hoping t gather some info as to what your GPA may have been to achieve a waitlist position and then successful admission?
