JustAskingAQuestion
Hello, The admission offer package states "The success of the current academic year, including having maintained your average; (your average must not be lower than the minimum WGPA cut off that was established according to your geographic status)". Does this apply for course-based Master's students? That is, would marks from graduate courses be considered to meet this condition? Thanks! cnguyen
From what I heard, as they used your undergrad wGPA, they just want your overall wGPA to remain above the cutoff. If you applied as a Masters student, they would have taken your undergrad marks. If that's already over the cut-off, you're fine.
JustAskingAQuestion
Thank you so much. I have also emailed Chantal so will post here once I hear an official response from her for others interested/ wondering as well. She'll probably reply by tomorrow but I just wanted some reassurance, so thank you!
JustAskingAQuestion
So I heard back from Ottawa admissions. Graduate marks don't count (i.e. your WGPA is not recalculated on the basis of graduate school marks). However, if you fail a grad course, that could raise red flags (so try not to lolz).
