Idontthinkimpossible
I moved to Canada a year ago and have written the MCAT with good score overall. My CGPA from my undergrad plus my Grad school is in the range of 3.5. I am a mature applicant (32) with a background in Geophysics. What type of experience's will be best fit to complete the "Top 10 experiences" part of the application process? Do I include my employment over the years or is it extracurricular and life experiences only? Thank you for the honest response.
Meridian
You may be fairly unique. You might want to start with one Medical school admissions office to understand what they need to validate your application. Maybe start with the school nearest to you. This guide may be of some help to start to select a starting school to work with. https://afmc.ca/sites/default/files/documents/en/Publications/AdmissionRequirements_en.pdf You also need to determine if you are eligible to apply to Canadian Medical School. Do you have Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status ? You will need to have your Undergrad transcripts validated / translated into a Canadian equivalent. There are translation services. This is one schools info on foreign equivalency as reference. https://www.mcgill.ca/gradapplicants/international/apply/equivalency Schools will usually use a 3rd party to determine equivalency. This is an example but there are others. Talk to the school first. https://www.ece.org/ A cumulative 3.5 GPA is probably not sufficient for an interview at most Canadian schools. There are however different weighting (wGPA) approaches that schools use that let you drop lowest year(s) or favour later years. Each school is different. You are also non-traditional so first step is a discussion with an admissions office. ____________ You reference "Top 10 Experiences" This is specific to some school's application. I would take it for what it says "experiences". Include everything that you think a selection committee would find interesting. Submit a good variation and ECs that show long term involvement. They all need to be verifiable, so consider how you can supply that for each example. Cheers

Bambi
I would use any live experiences including work that demonstrate CanMEDS competencies where you have developed, grown and contributed in a meaningful way.
