student204
Hey guys, I am looking to apply this upcoming cycle, and was wondering what is considered a competitive AGPA. I currently have a 4.07 AGPA, and will be writing the MCAT at the end of august. I will be an IP applicant. Am I okay in the AGPA department, where my only worry now should be the MCAT? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
emmaos
With reference to the past statistics, I would say somewhere around 4.2 would be considered competitive. But then again AGPA has such a small percentage compared to MCAT and interview, so just focus on doing well for MCAT for now
Risto321
I knew a guy who got in on his 2nd or 3rd try with a GPA of 4.06, but did well on the MCAT (516 score). So yeah just focus on the MCAT for now.
