Worth applying with 3.86cGPA?

Recommended Posts

I'm not exactly sure what the cutoffs were this year for full file review. I am sure you could find it someone in the UofT admission information videos. They have become more and more transparent about these sorts of things in recent years. Even if it is slightly below, I am sure they change year to year and so it would probably be worth applying anyway.

That being said, barring any financial restrictions, it is always a good idea to apply as many times as possible. The whole application process: OMSAS, sketch, essays, tracking down references, and hopefully an interview, are a vital skill in itself. It takes lots of time and practice to perfect it and its equally as important as other elements of your application (GPA, MCAT, references). Even if you don't get in this year, when you go to do it next year, everything will be organized and you will have a really strong base to build off of.
