beavertail
I'm currently tutoring with a non profit organisation but it is far away and the students there are ungrateful and very difficult to control which makes it not very fun. Would just doing my own private volunteer tutoring (like posting an ad on kijiji offering free tutoring) look as good on an application? My main worry is that if I just did my own volunteer private tutoring might look sketchy because the reference would have to be one of my students parents or something like that. JohnGrisham
Doesn't matter, do what you enjoy better. Neither of them will make or break your application.
Bambi
Not sketchy in the slightest. Yes, do what you prefer and will enjoy!
Me11y
I do a lot of tutoring (not volunteer) and use an accountant for my business claims and taxes, etc. I used my accountant on my application to verify my hours. But a parent would probably be the next choice you have?
JenniferSimmons
Hey there! That was a really great work you are doing, Appreciate your work, I would like to tell you that do such work, which you enjoy the most. I mostly like to volunteer and travel different places, so I mostly prefer volunteering by joining charities rather than private tutoring. I read on this helpful site one can teach children in Africa and to spend time with them by volunteering.
