Still no update from some med schools?

Hey,

I've been hearing people get invitations to interview for Queens and McMaster and I'm just wondering- what does it mean not to hear anything at all? Admittedly, this past cycle I was not a strong applicant at all but I applied to NOSM, Queens and McMaster anyway. I got a rejection email from NOSM and I still have not received anything from Queens or McMaster. Is this strange? They do HAVE to send a rejection email right? I've checked junk and spam and searched for admissions in my email multiple times but haven't found anything- not sure what to make of this.

Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

To my knowledge, all of both McMaster and Queen's interviews have already been completed for this cycle. Both of those schools should have sent you a response in January via email.

I recommend calling the admissions committee. A couple of years back, a friend of mine was invited to an interview at Queens but he never received an email for some reason. He called them and they confirmed his OMSAS ID and resent the email.

Queens rejection was sent to my promotions folder in gmail.

Could it have been sent to another email?

If you have checked that already then definitely call admissions as interview invites should have been sent in Janauary and all the interviews have been completed in March.

From what I have heard Queen's interviews were completed last weekend, and I think McMaster was mid March. But definitely should have heard something one way or another.
