OntarioVets Posted April 25, 2018 Report Share Posted April 25, 2018 Hi guys, I'm a finance professional working in Toronto. I've been doing some work on potentially acquiring vet clinics in the GTA. I'm actually looking to partner with a vet to acquire other small hospitals. As I'm sure you guys know, Ontario is unique in that hospitals must technically be 100% owned by veterinarians under the CVO regulations. Ultimately I would be looking for a vet to sign off on the purchase in return for an equity stake. I'm flexible on the terms and structure - it could be in a passive manner with no financial risk or time commitment on the vet's part.
