John Loftis
Just finished up first day of lmcc2. Think it went OK will see what happens when they release pass fail. Just curious though, for candidates that do fail the LMCC2 can you still get a provisional license in British Columbia or do you have to be an LMCC licenciate? Would be strange if IMG's can practice here without the LMCC1 or 2 but CMG that have completed a Canadian residency cannot. Hoping someone has a concrete answer. Gotta love the growing mountain of debt! Thanks edit: if you are practicing in another province without the LMCC2 I'd like to hear about that as well. bearded frog
I'm assuming you're family med (Unless you really delayed your exam) so the answer is.... maybe. https://www.cpsbc.ca/files/pdf/REG-Full-Prov-GP.pdf You can get a provisional licence if you have a supervisor/sponsor. John Loftis
Thanks I did see that document and will contact the college this week for clarification. If you are not an MCC licenciate it asks if you have the MCCEE or are exempt. I would assume that passing the LMCC1 qualifies but just hoping to confirm. Mithril
I know one person who failed the MCCQE 2 and was granted provisional license. However, obtaining a provisional license seems like a huge pain in the butt.
