zackattack881
Hi, I am a student from uOttawa and I would just like to know my chances for the University of Ottawa medical school (I am applying to the French stream). wGPA: 3.84 Year: Graduating in 2018 with a B.Sc. in biomedical science. EC's: Long term volunteering at a hospital since 2015 (+500 hours), research lab volunteer, part time job, chemistry teacher assistant volunteer during the summer for the past 3 years for high school students, awards/dean's list and scholarships, awarded the APUO scholarship. Please be honest with me, thank you all
erythrocyte
If you nail CASPer I’d say you have a good shot at the French stream.
crisronaldo
i think your GPA is good for ottawa. your ECs however might be abit on the lower side. But I think you can compensate by doing well on CASPer
LUUO
I would say you have a good chance. Your GPA and EC's are comparable to that of my application and I ended up receiving an offer under the CFNS French Stream. Congratulations on the APUO scholarship, that's something I never received :P. I am unsure how competitive the GPA is for the IP French (ON + QC) but I have seen people with your GPA receive an offer. However, as others have mentioned, do well on your CASPer (be glad uOttawa doesn't require the MCAT!) and id say you have a good chance. Best of luck!
