I definitely needed a car on my ROMP as you are all around the city and needed to drive to a lot of different locations!

Hi PM101ers, quick question about booking rad onc electives that I am hoping those of you in residency can answer for me! (or those who matched to rad onc this year, congrats!) If I am 100% set on rad onc and will not be backing up with another specialty, should I do all of my electives in rad onc around the country? Or would it better for me to "round out" my application with electives in something else like med oncology? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Rad onc fully filled

Also surprised about Rad Onc after last year's unfilled seats. It's so hard to predict what the trends will be sometimes. I thought the job market prospects would still be scaring people away. -

UofT has a community of support not just for black students but also underrepresented students including those from lower socioeconomic status. http://www.md.utoronto.ca/community-support I've worked with the community of support to mentor premeds who are immigrants, from a low socioeconomic background and the first person in their family to attend university. All I can say is I wish I could have been part of this program when I was a premed because I had to do everything on my own and it would have meant a lot to me to have a positive mentor of colour / similar financial background t

Ubc General Surgery Or Urology
lost__in__space replied to lost__in__space's topic in CaRMS and CaRMS applications
I will be alert about that. Thanks for the heads up! -
Hello friends! Is anyone here from UBC general surgery or urology? These two programs are on my radar for when I do CaRMS and I would love to talk to current residents about what their programs are like.
