  1. I was wondering if anyone has good insight or places were dental job postings are located in Ontario? I don't yet have access to ODA's journal and I know most jobs are through word of mouth or connections but any advice is appreciated =) Thanks!
  2. Has anyone ever worked for these dental chains able to share their experiences? Are you as overworked or are procedures pushed on you as the rumors suggest? Thanks!

  5. I'd try to improve that GPA and DAT considerably. Aim for above 20 in each section of the DAT, most US schools take heavy consideration on it.
  6. Glad you gave me credit =P. Good luck to everyone!
  7. No it won't affect your application in anyway. You're an international, and will be treated as such in terms of school quota and tuition. Apply to schools who favour canadians and you'll be fine. Once you're accepted the school will help you get your study Visa. You should include all course work whether it is towards a degree or not. So yes, you should put this down in the coursework section.
  8. I guess this sort of thing fluctuates every year as from your numbers they had 10 Canadians attend their school in 2009. But you have to keep in mind that Case is a private university and many students (Canadians included) choose other schools that are cheaper to attend. This may mean they did accept Canadians in 2010 but none chose to go. PS. I was accepted at Case this year and I'm a Canadian.
  9. This isn't the most legit trick but if you're writing the paper based version you can rip a corner off the booklet and trace the angles to compare...
  10. I can definitely vouch for UofT's facilities being antique... I interviewed at NYU and they're brand new EVERYTHING. Makes UofT look ancient.
  11. You can definitely try, it'd help if you're a top tier student. What are your stats? The schools in the states look at your cumulative gpa as well as extracurriculars and shadowing experience.
