  1. Sometimes professors are also affiliated with local hospitals, etc. so that might go in the organization section. If your referrer is not from a university then just list whatever contact details you feel are necessary. No harm in not writing something in the institution section if it doesn't apply. Hope this clears things up for you!
  2. just wanted to say it was great finally meeting you and having a chat in person! and was anyone else surprised that there are more males than females in the class? I thought the opposite was generally true.
  3. Alright great, does it matter that the first OSAP installment won't be out until after the due date for the first tuition installment?
  4. Does anyone who received an admissions bursary see that amount reflected anywhere in their online tuition fee statement? I see a 0 under anticipated aid yet I received a bursary.
  5. Cool cool. When did you apply? I wasn't able to apply until just now since I didn't have a UWO student #, so idk if it will work out for me.
  6. Are we allowed to apply for an apartment as first year students?
  7. +1 I'm interested to learn more about this bursary as well. Couldn't find anything about a $9,000 bursary on the OMA website... OMSBF shows you could receive $3,000 if your school deems you to be in the greatest financial need.
  8. As outlined here: http://www.registrar.uwo.ca/student_finances/fees_refunds/Fall%20Winter%202012-2013%20UGRD%20fee%20schedule%20Canadian.pdf the tuition for 2012-2013 will be $21,959.20 for first years. Quite the leap from last year!
  9. I was under the impression (from the interview invite e-mail back in March) that the bursary app deadline was April... :S Is this not the case??
  10. Yeah I cut my conversation with them short as well... the rep seemed rather rude and was unhelpful over the phone.
  11. Anyone know of UWO contacts for TD Bank? Calling the general number for LOC info has been a waste of time thus far.
  12. Idk.. not to be a negative nancy or anything but I'd imagine the whole reason Western changed it up this year with unspecified campus offers and such was precisely to avoid the whole jumping ship problem.
  13. I don't know your precise situation, but you could potentially have one of your parents be the registered owner of the vehicle. The insurance policy would be at their address, under their name, and you could be added to that policy and drive the car wherever you go (London for example). This way the insurance may be cheaper, and since the car isn't technically yours you wouldn't report it to OSAP.
