Hello everyone, While completing the omsas application, I have encountered some questions that hoping someone could provide some insights: How do you fill in the telephone number extension? I tried to type it after the phone number, but kept getting the error message saying: "this is an invalid number". Could I order the transcripts and click on the "send email" under the "referee" section before I submit the application? or I have to submit the application first? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, Does anyone know if I take the MCAT in September, will the score reach OMSAS on time? The very last MCAT score will be released on October 12th. I am wondering how long does it take for the score to reach OMSAS? Do I need to release the score to individual Ontario schools or just OMSAS? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have searched forum, but couldn't find the information I need. So it says on the Western website: "First- and second-year courses that do not require a first-year prerequisite may be included within the 5.0 courses only if absolutely mandatory for the second degree program". If I understand it correctly, that means I can take second year courses that do require prerequiste? Can someone please confirm this? Thanks.

Hi everyone, This might be a very silly question, but I just want to make sure I am doing the right way. So I attended more than one universities. Some universities have courses with 3 or 6 credits for example, but another university has courses like 0.5 or 1 credits. So for those of you who have similar situations, how do you calculate your GPA? Thanks in advance!

Hmm, what you mean by "a normal course load"? This is from the website: "Students taking a normal full-time load of approximately 30 credits per fall/winter session can expect to complete a bachelor degree in three fall/winter sessions". But I'm taking more elective courses, mostly three and four year ones. I know Western has a 3/5 rule, do the 5 course all have to be the ones required for the degree or I can take some third or fourth year elective courses?

Right now I'm in a bachelor of arts program, but the courses I have taken are more than 3 years, with two full courseload years. Not sure if that will qualify for their rules

So I remembered Western used to ask for an honours degree, now it says a 4-year degree. I was just wondering if a bachelor's degree will do? this is nmy second undergraduate degree.
