  1. In off the waitlist at 4:41PM today - In asia actually so it was a pleasant surprise to wake up to. Stats: VR: 11 (BS: 13, PS: 13) GPA: 3.75 (3.71 OMSAS) Undergraduate Institution: University of Toronto No years with a full course load Campus: Hamilton Only gave Mac one choice of campus, so this was my only shot re: Mac. Good luck to everyone
  2. Perhaps people aren't lying about being accepted in the first round, and Queen's just 'oversubscribes' due to the high attrition rate..
  3. Wondering if anyone has info on Dartmouth Medical School chances... 37R (11VR, 13BS, 13PS), 3.75 GPA, interviewed (not sure how it went, but was very conversational), and have been waitlisted. They don't specify whether it is a 'good' or 'bad' waitlist either. Does anyone know what proportion of waitlisted candidates are accepted by Dartmouth? What are general chances like? Thanks!
  4. 5. Thanks for your responses! So do we know if Queen's or any of the medical schools in Ontario for that matter subscribe only 100 invites in the initial set of offers, or do they over subscribe with the knowledge that X people will decline the offer? This is with the understanding that until 2009, queens had a 50% rate of attrition (200 offers, 100 declined, 100 accepted, not including people on the waitlist who never got an offer because they accepted another offer elsewhere in ontario/canada/USA). Thanks for addressing my concerns in advance!
  6. Does anyone know how it works if you are waitlisted at Queens but receive an offer elsewhere? Does Queen's convey movement off the waitlist before the end of the '3 week' period when people have to make decisions on their offers? And upon accepting an offer from one school, do you necessarily remove yourself from the wait list of another?
  7. That doesn't include people who were on the waitlist and accepted an offer elsewhere... So it's not necessarily the top 199 people (there may have been people waitlisted who didn't get an offer because they took themselves off the waitlist).. so your'e looking at closer to around 250 Again keep in mind that these stats are from 2008/2009 when they interviewed MANY more people than the 400 or so they interview now.
