  1. Hey guys, For those who got the visa infinite cards from Scotia, were you able to use the promotion for 25k points after spending $1000 the first 3 months? I was told no because the card is free for med students. Thanks!
  2. Hey, Thought I'd chip in a bit here about my experience. Course was $40, handbook was $20. There's a short 25 question "test" at the end of it and tbh, you really don't need the Handbook. A lot of the other people taking the course did not buy the book. But if you want the handbook for future reference, then by all means buy it.
  3. I got an email this morning at 11:03. GPA is around 3.95, English Stream. Hang in there guys!

  5. I did get an email confirming my confirmation ( sounds weird) this year. I think they're just a bit busy atm, so give it a day or two, and you'll probably hear back.

  7. Hey guys, I'm having a hard time deciding if rewriting the mcat is something I should do. Currently sitting at a 130/127/130/130, and a 3.97 GPA. Never got an invite to Mac and queens this year, but did interview at Ottawa. I didn't really prep for Casper last year, and I feel that I have a lot better idea of how to structure my ABS. Would you suggest running with the 127 or try gutting out another MCAT before the application cycle this year . Thanks, and I appreciate any insight.
  8. Result: Waitlist Time-Stamp: 7:38 AM wGPA: 3.99 Stream: English Geography: IP EC: okay, mediocre to good Current Year: 4th Interview: Came out feeling really pumped, but after thinking about it more as time passed became more worried. Kept thinking that I could have or should have said something else... But oh well. I had friendly interviewers which made the whole experience pleasant. Congratulations to all those that received an acceptance!
  9. very similar experience for me with the layers. Overall, I thought my interviewers were fairly nice, and hopefully, I was able to connect with them. doing a lot of post-interview thinking these days about how my answers came across. may 9th can't come soon enough!
  10. If it's any comfort, so haven't I. But then again... who knows where we are right now in the application cycle. Might be a good thing, a bad thing, or just neutral. Anyhow, just keep holding on!
  11. I agree, but it certainly is hard not knowing whether you are in the competitive but rejected list or the group that has not had their files reviewed yet.
  12. No test reservations for me either. Reschedule for 8pm is full as well.
