  1. Hey there, Just wondering if anyone has pursued re-entry training in Canada. I’ve recently finished FM training and strongly considering re-entering IM training. However, I’m not sure how readily available the positions are etc. if anyone has had any experience with re-entry training please let me know. Cheers

  3. Cheers! I figured transferring into Neurology would be super tough. I'd really be happy with either specialty though, so I'll likely try my luck with IM
  4. Hello everyone, I'm an IMG from Australia who recently matched to an FM program in Ontario, but am strongly considering a transfer to IM or Neurology. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any success stories of transfers along the same lines. I'm aware of the internal university transfer process that takes place around January, but I'm also aware that transferring from FM to a specialty can be difficult given the discrepancy in funding. Just a bit of background about, I was an IM resident in Australia, but decided to make the move back home due to a family member being ill. Cheers

  6. Hello all, I'm a final-year medical student studying in Australia (Canadian studying abroad). I'm sitting my NAC OSCE this September (2016) in Toronto, and I'm looking for someone to practice and prep with. In terms of where I'm at currently, I'm doing 4 months of electives that are largely in the GTA. Please send me a message on here or e-mail me at awan.talal@gmail.com. Cheers, Talal Awan
  7. Hey, My name is Talal, and I am a Canadian that has been accepted into the University of Queensland and the University of Wollongong for 2013. I am wondering if anyone can give me any information if either of these schools offers any advantages, especially in terms of gaining a internship/residency in Australia and back in North America. Also, during my application procedure I have found my correspondence with UQ to be very smooth. My experience with UOW has been very frustrating due to the fact that their interview calls, correspondence, and admission offer was very delayed. Does anyone
