I got admitted in 2019 (MDCM promotion 2019-2023) (not the combined MD-PhD program). I didn't have to send any letters of reference. However, we had to submit a list of verifiers along with the CV. I don't know if it's different in your case since you're applying for the combined program.

For the info, my Official University Transcript got processed on the 1st of may !

I think if your basis of admission degree is already completed, you can send it now. If not and you're about to complete it this semester, all you can do is wait for your university to release the official transcript. McGill will understand that you couldn't send it before.

Hello everyone ! I emailed the office of admissions last week concerning the final transcript. I asked them why it is still unprocessed although I had sent it a week before. She replied by telling me that they are currently off site and doing the CEGEP applicant interviews, and that it should be processed within the next few weeks. Also to answer a question on this thread, ask your school to send the official transcript to the office of admission (Faculty of Medecine, McGill) I hope this can help !

Pour donner une idée aux futurs applicants voulant estimer la force de leur programme et/ou la probabilité d'une convocation dans les mêmes programmes que j'ai suivi : Convoqué à l'UdeM et à l'uL ; 90 crédits en biomed, 3,95 GPA ; 13 crédits en DMD, 4,1 GPA ; Je ne connais pas ma côte globale, mais je l'estimes à 36 à l'UdeM et à 33,9 à l'uL (avec le bonus de 0,5 pour le bac complété). Bonne chances à tous ! Je me désiste des deux offres et je laisse ma place au prochain sur la liste d'attente !

Salut ! J'ai été admis au DMD l'année passée avec 34,6 de cote. Première vague. Tu as donc toutes les chances au monde de rentrer. Je connais PLEINS de gens qui sont rentrés avec des 35,XXX. Si tu as bien fait ton Casper, ça devrait bien aller.

I got in with a pre-req GPA of 3,2. I have to be honest, I feel like I did pretty well on my interviews. Of course, we are our biggest critics, so I always tend to overthink and find stuff that I could've done better. But I think if you have all the right elements you're fine. I have a friend who got in last year with the same prereq GPA as mine. The MMI counts for 80%, so I think if you do really well on the interview you'll be fine.

Non j'ai reçu le refus le 21 mars

J'ai été accepté hier en médecine à McGill. J'ai appliqué à UdeM et uL, je serais surement convoqué aux deux selon la CRU que j'ai, mais je vais me désister de l'entrevue

Refusé pour "cote insuffisante". Bac complété en Sciences biomédicales (90 crédits, GPA de 3,95) + 14 crédits en Médecine dentaire (GPA de 4,1) Je le post pour vous donner une idée de la force des programmes à l'Université de Sherbrooke. L'année passée j'étais sur la liste d'attente pour les entrevues, cette année ce fut un refus directe étant donné qu'ils ont diminué la façon qu'ils cotent biomed.
