  1. Hey all, I'm coming from OOP and don't know anyone who will be in my class yet. Has anyone been in a similar situation before, and is there something like a facebook group for housing at UofA? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance
  2. OOP Result: Accepted Timestamp: 10:15 AM EST GPA: 4.0 MCAT: 513 Year: 4th year UG ECs: International volunteer and work, research no pubs, long term school clubs and volunteer, competitive and recreational sports Interview: I felt 2 stations were great, 1 was terrible, 5 were good/okay

  4. For that one I had to clarify if it was interactive, but I thought the 1st person perspective was clear. Unless I'm referring to a different question...
  5. Thanks guys! That make sense, it sounds like they just read references for those they wanna accept rather than for all interviewees
  6. Result: Invite GPA: 4.0 MCAT: 513 Year: 4th year UG ECs: varied, nothing spectacular like olympic athlete though. edit: I have a lot of international stuff (rumour has it that helps?) OOP Better late than never LOL, at least this may be helpful for future applicants
  7. I had exactly 1 serious interviewer too haha. Maybe there was just 1 per group of 8 to be fair
  8. Hey all, I noticed something today that I was curious enough about to open a pm101 account to ask . I didn't know until now that reference letters were only read and verified AFTER the interview and I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on the reason for it? It just seems kind of interesting to me that they would invest time and resources into candidates without knowing that they make the references cut. Maybe it's a logistical thing where there's just not enough time to get through the references by interview weekend? Any insight is much appreciated
