Thanks for the response. So If I do apply to CanMD (UWO, Queens, uOttawa, Dal, McMaster), and 10 USMD along with 10USDO, do I have a reasonable chance at interviews? I'm not hanging by a thread am I? I'm scared to ask -- but if my chances are slim at the above, would you suggest I consider International?

My Stats are as follows GPA: 2.5, 3.1, 4.0, 4.0, 4.0 (converted GPA to USDO schools, I go to Western) MCAT: Straight 11's ECs: I think they're above average. I worked as a photographer, tutored, 1000+ hours of volunteering, 200+ hours of shadowing, ~100 hours of research (didn't like it so I chose not to pursue it further), and I've been an Exec on many clubs on campus and founded one. So unfortunately my cGPA is 3.52, sGPA: 3.4 Most DO schools have average cGPAs of 3.58, so I was wondering if the upward trend would help offset being on the lower end? -- Should I bother with USMD

Year 1: 2.0 Year 2: 3.0 Year 3: 3.95 Year 4: 4.0 Year 5: 3.98 If I'm okay with Medical School in Canada (of course) and in the United States, whether that be USMD or USDO, is it reasonable to not pursue a second UG degree with my GPA? Appreciate any guidance!

Would you recommend a sixth year maybe? as applications are going on. Also, after all said and done, do I still have a chance at M.D. admissions? a reasonable chance? (sorry I need something to make me feel a bit better)

Appreciate the post, so are those schools all I have a decent shot at? Wouldn't it be reasonable to apply USMD/USDO as well as Western/Queens/Ottawa to include other options as well as reasonable back ups (USDO), for AMCAS I have a 2.6, 3.2, 4.0, 4.0, 4.0

Would I be better off with USMD/USDO? How many schools in Canada would I be competitive for ONLY considering GPA requirements? Thank you
