Current Degree: In my 4th year Geography: IP NAQ: 23.42 AQ: 20.91 TFR: 44.33 Wasn't really expecting an interview this year, since my first year GPA was rough, but it's nice to know where I'm at, and where I can improve. I'll probably rewrite my NAQ, and add a few more things from this year. Might rewrite my MCAT this summer.
  4. I have some volunteering activities that I started when I was 13 and continued to now. Is there a set age where I can start counting the volunteer hours or can I include all of the hours from when I was in my teens as well?
  5. I would definitely like to join. I'm not from Victoria though, so I would likely only be able to talk online.
  6. Hi everyone, I have been volunteering in a clinical psychology lab for the past three years, and will be doing an NSERC USRA in this lab over the summer. The PI suddenly decided he will be taking a year break from research, and the lab is expected to close by summer 2018. If I were to get a reference from this lab, would it still be a valid reference for my application cycles? Any advice would be much appreciated.
  7. Currently 3rd year BSc cGPA: 3.60/4.33 - hoping to get to around 3.85 by the end of 4th year MCAT: 510 (127/128/129/126) BC resident will apply everywhere though. Mostly concerned that my psyc/soc and overall scores are low, considering that the UBC average is 515 now. This summer was really the only time I had off to write the MCAT to apply after my third year so I did it, figuring I would be more fresh for the courses on it. I am confident that I can do better if I rewrite, but don't really want to if it isn't necessary. Thanks.
