Thanks for the input! I do already have a MacBook, so I think the iPad will mainly be for notes.

Anyone have any recommendations about how much storage is good for an iPad? I’m planning on getting one for note taking , but not sure how many GB I’ll need... I currently save most of my docs to iCloud, so I’m hoping I can get away with less storage.

I’m not sure of UofA’s position on this as I haven’t looked, but I know a lot of other schools do not allow deferrals for this reason. Both UBC and Calgary have “Proof of Program Completion” forms that graduate students must submit (with supervisor’s signature) to indicate you will finish your program prior to MD orientation.

You could totally be right. I was rejected last year and don’t remember seeing then, but it’s probably unimportant. I was just curious!

Anyone have a tab on UCAN, in addition to the Offer tab, that says "Group Activity"? Not sure what that's all about and there's nothing about it in the offer email... just wondering if I'm missing some detail?
