  1. I know it is heartbreaking. I've been rejected 4 times, so I know how it feels. There are lots of times where I felt like a total failure as well, especially considering all my friends have gotten into med school way before me. You have to realize that you're not a failure at all; trust me you're not. You've gotten an interview this year - this is a really good start. If you persevere and reflect on this cycle (don't just look at the negatives) and work on things bit by bit, you'll eventually get in. I know many people who took 5+ tries, myself included, to get in. You can definitely do
