  1. Yeah they sent out a second email with some details. I've attached it below.
  2. Sample image that UBC just sent out of the new score reporting system
  3. Thanks! I'll update once I get the scores. OAS isn't loading right now
  4. UBC actually doesn't have any pre-interview cutoffs beyond the 75/85 and minimum MCAT. They'll give a score out of 50 for AQ and NAQ , and if the sum of these two scores meets the interview cut-off score, you'll receive an interview.
  5. might be a little angry right now as I got regrets also but how the f is that possible UBC??? I understand standardizing against the applicant pool, but there's no way that standardization alone account for that
  6. Had the same thing happen last year. NAQ dropped 8 points. Went up 0.5pts this year despite adding new activities, more hours and leadership roles
  7. Combination of previous year's trends and the fact that round numbers make us feel nice
  8. I'd say if we haven't heard by 6 Edit: last year I got the email at 5:22 pst, don't remember when OAS was updated
  9. Pretty sure that's a troll because my last year's app says "Regrets, No Interview" not "Regrets, Not Interviewed". Last year's app also has it in a custom styled table
  10. Just saw it... Could easily be photoshopped or a picture of last year's app. Who knows
  11. It should be noted that the email we receive is just representing the status update from OAS and it's completely possible that emails get delayed. Best thing to do is to check OAS portal to see if status is updated today imo
  12. UVic gives percentage grades too. Definitely possible. Not sure about OOP schools though
  13. In the past, all regrets have come out on the same day regardless of early/regular applicant. Early applicant just got their interview offers a day early
  14. Just means that you met the grade percentage/MCAT/credit minimums to get a total file review. Beyond that, doesn't mean much...
  15. Just had 2 verifiers (that I know of) contacted today after initially round of contact in first week of Oct.
  16. Just had 2 (that I know of) receive emails this Sunday
  17. I've always split different roles into different activities, even if in the same organization. For example, I've been involved with a charity as a volunteer, executive member, and president. In my NAQ section, I split these into 3 activities just because the role and responsibilities are so drastically different between each position. Regarding your older highschool entry, that makes it a tougher decision. I think its important to choose the activities that describe you best as the applicant you are right now. Personally, I would get rid of the highschool activity in favour of the newer
  18. Same. Went from ~32.5 last year to ~23.5 this year, despite adding activities and add another year of experience to the old ones. Tough pill to swallow.
