  6. No clue, I’ve heard 80% round 1 offers, 20% round 2 offers. But I’ve also heard 60:40...
  7. Is this your first time applying? If so, I think it doesn’t hurt to try! If you look at the stats of class of 2021, someone with a 3.75 AGPA got in. They calculate your chances of getting an interview with a weighting of 27.3% AGPA and 72.7% MCAT score. Somehow they do this in a way that accounts for GPAs and MCATs of the entire pool of applicants. It’s likely that the person with the 3.75 GPA had a beyond average MCAT score. (Average was 512 for interviews) Then luckily after interview, the weighting for their enrolment decisions is 15% AGPA, 40% MCAT, 45% MMI. I got an interv

  9. Don't worry, you're not neurotic until you've tried to map out where all the Ontario interviewees are ending up to calculate the odds that it will open up a spot or move you up in the waitlist... #guilty
  10. Is it true that having research in one field can severely limit your chances with a residency position in another field? Sort of like being typecasted based on your previous experience?

Okay so far from the Queen's feed, there are 4 people who were waitlisted by Queen's but accepting another offer (maybe?) and 2 people who were accepted by Queen's but declining for another offer... So that means there are 6 spots for us so far!! lol Queen's does send out rejections today too right?? Does anyone know approximately how many people get rejected first round?

Result: Waitlist Timestamp: 7:46 AM CST GPA: 3.75 MCAT: 513 ECs: Research (5 first author papers and 4 co-author papers, conferences, graduate scholarships including CIHR), student-run health clinic, hospital volunteering, writing tutor, etc. Geography: OOP Interviews: Not so good, especially one of the MMI stations (sooo embarrassing!!!).
