  1. Just wondering what the specialties are and which are considered competitive/ middle/ non competitive. ive always been interested in psychiatry- can anyone speak to whether Mac is good for that or any other suggestions (such as research or other things I can do to prep)? thank you to all the upper years!
  2. Calmed down enough to write this now: Result: Accepted off waitlist (Hamilton) Timestamp: May 28 (not 23!) 6:20PM Original waitlist timestamp: May 14th at 7:55 am (last name "Z" - I was one of the original proponents of the last name theory and to all future students - timestamps mean nothing!!) GPA: 3.83 CARS: 128 Interview: Felt good right after, horrible for the next month, and unsure till waitlist Year: 4th year Geography: IP Shoutout to the waitlist party - y'all are the OG MVP GOAT + other acronyms, sending out positive vibes to eve
  3. i definitely will - i know how bad the wait is, but stay strong and stay cool. i havent even met you guys irl and i already wish we'll get to be classmates
  5. i think i speak for everyone here when i say: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  6. Every day is a trial to get through lol itll be hard to enjoy the weekend...
  7. All right boys we’ve cracked another one of their mind games. Yeehaw brothers
  8. Just to help some of us who are speculating about waitlist timestamps.... would you mind sharing where the initial letter of your family name is in the alphabet
  9. Right, it's just that at the interview presentations, they quoted a statistic stating that 0% of last years' class were placed in their 3rd choice, and so logically it sounds like they would take into account your campus preferences even if you're from the waitlist, meaning they might wait for batches of 5 (for example) available offers to try to ensure everyone gets into their top 2 preferences. Of course, this is just speculation, and campuses very little in the grand scheme of things. It's just a thought that crossed my mind during the seemingly endless wait
  10. has anyone heard of someone coming off the waitlist yet? Or are we all waiting on the 2 week mark? Personally I feel that, to still respect our campus choices, they may wait a bit and send offers out in batches every 2-3 days to ensure that people will be allotted to their 1st or 2nd choice, but this is my own speculation
  11. Nerves might be getting to me, thanks for your input
  12. Hey i know i'm being neurotic but... are you sure your timestamp was 7:54 and not 7:45 ahaha or do you have a last name that starts with a letter late into the alphabet? I'm on the waitlist trying to figure out whether the timestamp indicates where I am on the waitlist...
