  1. Result: Rejected (5:46pm EST) Geography: OOP GPA: 3.95 MCAT: 519 (131 CARS) Degree: BSc 2017, MSc 2019 EC: Physician's assistant/scribe, president of club, lots of volunteering with children, volunteering at mental health institute and seniors residence, camp instructor two summers, mission trips to the Caribbean, research presentations and publication in submission (now published but wasn't when I applied), some awards Interview: Thought it went well, guess not?
  2. Already posted some info above but thought I'd give a full post just so all my info is here. Result: Rejected Timestamp: 11:09am EST, May 5, 2021 Geography: OOP GPA: 4.00 MCAT: 131/131/128/129 Degree: BSc 2017, MSc 2019 ECs: 8 Interview: Thought it went really well, I didn't feel like I struggled with any questions and I had lots of experiences to back up my answers. Kind of surprised with the result. Congrats to those who got accepted, and good luck to those for whom this journey to med school is not over yet.
  3. Do practice every day without fail, I'd suggest a minimum of 3 passages per day, and maybe one day a week do 9 passages in a row. Use practice passages that are difficult to read (most practice passages from prep companies are difficult enough). You can look into JW, they give free passages every day for CARS.
  4. Result: Waitlisted Timestamp: 8:45am EST cGPA: 3.95 CARS: 131 CASPer: felt much worse this year than the previous two years but my other stats carried me to an interview. MMI interview thoughts: I came out really not feeling confident at all. I didn't structure my points well and cringed at some answers, although I do think I made some decent points. Year: Finished BSc in 2017, MSc in 2019, been working at hospitals the past 2 years. Geography: IP Guaranteed interview from last year: No I'll be removing my name from the waitlist!
  5. Time Stamp: 9:34 Accepted/WL/R: Bad waitlist IP/OOP: IP SWOMEN (Y/N): N 2YGPA: 3.97 MCAT (CP/CARS/BB): 131/131/128 Interview Experience (good, bad, neutral etc): I thought this was one of my best interviews. I felt like I did really well on most questions but rambled too much on the final question. They even complimented the uniqueness of my stories. I'm kind of surprised with the result, but I got accepted elsewhere so it's all good.
  6. After 5 years, 4 application cycles, 3 MCATs, a 2-year master's degree, and 1 goal, I've finally been accepted!!! To those who didn't get an offer this year, I know your pain and I know what it feels like. It can be hard to keep your head up. If you're willing to listen to my piece of advice, what kept me going was knowing that I was getting closer and closer each year, continuing to improve my application in whatever way I possibly could, continuing to improve my interview skills, rewriting the MCAT in 2020 to improve my CARS score (it was 125 the first two times I wrote it, I raised it
  7. I'm also OOP, rejected, above average in each section very similar to your stats (4.00 GPA, 129.75 MCAT, 8 activity score). I also thought this was my best interview which is kind of destroying my hopes for my other interviews... We just have to keep our heads up and stay strong my friend. This is my 4th application cycle btw
  8. predict mine! U of T & Ottawa, currently waitlisted at McGill
