I hope this gives some hope and motivation to those with a low GPA. You
  2. Congratulations to everyone that has gotten an interview to Western. For those with invites, just wondering are you all in a Master's program or have graduated? Anyone still in 4th year undergrad with an invite?
  3. That's a good point. This is also an option I am considering, but I just wanted to explore all my options before I make a decision.
  4. I'm looking to apply to a 1 year masters program as a backup if I am not accepted this cycle. However, for me to be eligible to apply next cycle the graduation requirements need to be completed prior to June 30th (for UofT) or August 1st (for Western and Queens). Does anyone know any 1 year course based masters programs that correspond with these graduation date requirements?

  6. If anyone else has recently been accepted, it would be very much appreciated if you can let us know. Thanks!
  7. Has no one heard anything from McMaster for the past 7 days? If you’ve been given a spot Off the WL over the week please let us know because this kind of WL movement seems unusual for Mac
  8. I have two friends that received an offer off the WL today around 5pm so I think there was a wave today
  9. Hey, just wondering. Did you end up deciding whether you were going to accept Mac?
  10. Thanks for letting us know. Good luck on your journey. By the way, what campus did you get assigned?
  11. Aww I'm sorry to hear that. You do have a really tough decision ahead of you, I wish you had more information to go on. I wish you all the best and maybe just go with your gut?
  12. Do you think if you email Western and explain your situation that they might tell you your position on their WL? I know you're high WL and they usually get through all the high WL but if you know your position, you may be able to make a more informed decision since there is a difference between being top 10 on the high WL vs being top 50.
  13. Looking at the previous forums, it seems like there is usually only 1 day in the 2 week period (most often the 8th or 9th day after D-Day) that Mac sends waitlist offers. For us that would've been Wednesday the 20th (8 days after D-Day). After that, it seems the first round of offers are sent out on either the 14th or 15th day, so for us probably on the 26th or 27th. Following the big round of WL offers at the 2 week mark, there doesn't seem to be an discernible pattern so it's likely that they are sent out as spots become available. I think it's fair to say that if you don't hear back by
