  1. Result: Accepted Timestamp: 8:46am EST 4YRS GPA/2YRS GPA: 3.69 / 3.69 (Yeah I was as surprised at you to get an interview with a sub 3.7 GPA) MCAT: 518 (130/130/128/130) MMI and Panel Interview Thoughts: Messed up one station on the MMI by misinterpreting part of the prompt and only realized it afterwards when I was mulling over my answers. Panel went really well and felt like I connected with both panelists while being able to convey everything I wanted Panel Date: Sat March 27 Year: 4th year UG Geography: IP As parting words I would like to say that a
  2. Result: Accepted (Hamilton Campus) Timestamp: 8:37 am cGPA: 3.69 CARS: 130 CASPer: I had a guaranteed interview from last cycle so I did not have to write CASPer this year for McMaster. However, I'm assuming CASPer has gone well for me for the past two years because I received an interview last year at McMaster with an even lower cGPA and this year I received another interview at Queens who incorporated CASPer into their pre-interview evaluation. MMI interview thoughts: I felt my preparation for the MMI prepared me well for the kinds of questions that were asked in th
  3. In preparation for D-Day tomorrow, I just wanted to create an updated template for this virtual cycle: Result: Accepted/Waitlisted/Rejected Timestamp: 4YRS GPA/2YRS GPA: MCAT: MMI and Panel Interview Thoughts: Panel Date (Saturday March 27th or Sunday March 28th): ECs: Year: Geography: IP/OOP
  4. Couldn't wait any longer so in preparation for Tuesday I decided to start a thread and create the template Result: Accepted (Campus)/Waitlist/Reject Timestamp: cGPA: CARS: CASPer: MMI interview thoughts: Year: Geography: IP/OOP Guaranteed interview from last year: Yes/No **If you were accepted, indicate if you will be accepting or declining the offer**
  5. There was a button that showed up last year if you interviewed at McMaster called "Reset choices". Now that button is technically only supposed to show up if you are given an offer at an OMSAS school. However, last year if you had the button show up on OMSAS and you interviewed at McMaster, that meant that you either got WL or R. Those that did not have the button and also had a McMaster interview were offered acceptances on May 12 2020
  6. Any button gate conspiracies this year? Last year it was the Thursday before results were released that the reset button showed up
  7. You know it’s almost game time when people start making individual A/R/WL threads for each school. Still waiting for that to happen so the stress hasn’t hit me yet
  8. The size of the waitlist at McMaster is tough to predict. However, it seems reasonable to me that in a cycle they accept 200, WL 200, and reject the rest. So if the WL is 200 deep, then there is about a 50% chance to be accepted off the WL
  9. Result: Invite Time Stamp: 11:10 EST cGPA/wGPA: 3.69 GPA (both my cGPA and wGPA are the same if Winter 2020 grades are excluded) Year: 4th year university MCAT: 518 with all sections 128 or higher ECs: Long term wet lab research, long term policy and advocacy positions, hospital volunteer but only in high school, about 100 hours of clinical experience, diverse interests outside of medicine like sports, finance, entrepreneurship etc. CASPer: Received Mac as well with a low GPA so probably went well. I hope this gives some hope and motivation to those with a low GPA. You
  10. Congratulations to everyone that has gotten an interview to Western. For those with invites, just wondering are you all in a Master's program or have graduated? Anyone still in 4th year undergrad with an invite?
  11. That's a good point. This is also an option I am considering, but I just wanted to explore all my options before I make a decision.
  12. I'm looking to apply to a 1 year masters program as a backup if I am not accepted this cycle. However, for me to be eligible to apply next cycle the graduation requirements need to be completed prior to June 30th (for UofT) or August 1st (for Western and Queens). Does anyone know any 1 year course based masters programs that correspond with these graduation date requirements?
