if we accept the offer how do we drop it? if we drop it before the deposit is due do we still have to pay the deposit? Like i got accepted and I want to accept it but i will probably drop the offer for somewhere else im just not 100% sure!

Hi everyone I made this thread to help keep track of WL movement and potential WL movement. If you are planning on declining or deferring your offer or know of someone who is please post here! If you are currently on the WL feel free to also share if you will be accepting or declining. It helps current and future applicants! Currently the IP WL is at 5 and the OOP WL is at 3. It was updated last on April 9th!! its been over a month and no movement

I also did not get any such email. but I am IP. Do we think the waitlist will move this week?

Save your money. Where you do your undergrad doesn’t matter. It’s all about your GPA and DAT score. Also McMaster is just a 45 min GoBus ride from UofT and Toronto. Have good ECs and show your best self to them. As in do ECs that you are actually interested in- it will give you a stronger personal statement and application.

Im HWL and my email said: :We do not give out any information about how many people are on the Wait List nor where individuals are ranked. Although you were not ranked to receive an offer at this time, it was recommended that your name be placed on our Wait List. Any offers not accepted will be filled by individuals on the Wait List. In recent years, applicants in your position on the Wait List have received an offer of admission." hope this helps!

Im on HWL my email response from them said "We do not give out any information about how many people are on the Wait List nor where individuals are ranked. Although you were not ranked to receive an offer at this time, it was recommended that your name be placed on our Wait List. Any offers not accepted will be filled by individuals on the Wait List. In recent years, applicants in your position on the Wait List have received an offer of admission." hope this helps any current or future applicants. Congrats to those admitted and those on the WL!
