  1. Thank you so much for your response @Médicomage! Unfortunately, I'm not using a mac, so I ended up submitting it without converting. I reached out to a friend who had received an interview previously and they said that they hadn't converted it to 300 DPI and they were fine, so it should be okay @LGMed2021! I think they just want to ensure that the image is clear and good quality. Exactly, that was even more confusing haha. I agree, I think as long as its good quality, it should be okay!
  2. Hey! Would really appreciate if someone is able to help me before midnight! I'm not sure how to ensure that the pdf that I upload for my Proof of Citizenship is 300 DPI. I was taking a picture/scanning my birth certificate on my phone and emailing myself, but when I look at the properties of the pictures, the horizontal resolution is 72 dpi and the vertical resolution is 72 dpi. Does anyone know is McGill is specific about this? Not sure what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  3. No IP applicants have posted either. It looks like they've changed it up this year
  4. Hi everyone! I'm a little late on working on my application, but was just filling out the first application form, and had a question regarding employment. I'm applying as a mature applicant, and was wondering if anyone knew how I should fill out the section for employment. It explains that if you will be out of school for more than 3 months by the time you start in Fall 2021, you're required to list your employment/full-time activity during that time. Should I write the end date for my employment as the start date of the program or as November 2020? Also, just to confirm, I'm
  5. Hey! Sorry, do you mind clarifying who this email was sent by and who received it?
  6. @mastermucocele yes, it was there before. Didn't even realize they removed it. I wonder if that means they may adjust the dates.
  7. I know how that feels, sorry to hear that happened. Unfortunately, they look at your most recent MCAT score. https://mdprogram.mcmaster.ca/md-program-admissions/how-to-apply/mcat "The most recent test result will be used for those applicants who attempt the MCAT more than once. For more information on the MCAT, click here"
  8. I feel like they'll stick to the schedule only because the interview dates are set for Nov 21/22 weekend.
  9. I didn't receive it either. For those who did receive it, did you all complete the optional survey at the end of the application?
  10. Has anyone ever asked their Graduate Teaching Assistant to be a reference for their OMSAS application and been successful in getting into medical school in Ontario? Just looking for feedback because I'm concerned one of my current references may not come through. Thank you in advance!
  11. For those who have been successful with the admissions process, what are you thoughts on grouping activities if you had multiples roles over the years within the organization? For ex. If you were an Executive in the club between 2016 - 2017 and then became the President of the club between 2017 - 2018, do you think they should go in as one entry or two? I realize I had different responsibilities in each of these positions, but I thought I would ask because when I list them separately, it appears like I was only involved with the organization for 1 year, when in reality it was longer. I r
  12. You should be able to include everything you've mentioned above, since it says any activities completed during your undergraduate studies and/or within the last 5 years. Since you completed your undergrad in 2015, you're still in the 5 year window, so you should be able to include anything you've completed up to the date the application is due! Unless, they're using your actual date of graduation to determine that 5 year window, in which case it would depend on what date you graduated. So for example, if you graduated in June 2015, then you might not be able to include anything from June 2015
