  1. Program: MD Result: Rejection Timestamp: No email yet but assuming OMSAS GPA: 3.91 CARS: 128 IP/OOP: IP Casper: 4Q
  2. I heard another mac med student confirming there was a test this upcoming Monday. Seems like we will need to wait till next week :/
  3. Likely tomorrow as the past two years have been the second Wednesday of January.
  4. Hey everyone! With the interview date being earlier this year (Feb 12th rather than Feb 27th), I believe invites will come out earlier this year. There is the format: Result (Invite/Regrets): Time Stamp: wGPA: Year: MCAT (CP/CARS/BB/PS): CASPER (Quartile): ECs: Geography (IP/OOP): Best of luck!
  5. Good luck! It's almost time :O. I have a 3.91 cGPA, 128, 4th quartile, IP. I'm really hoping that I don't need to write the MCAT again, and I'm letting this invite/rejection decide that!
  6. I haven't heard anything from any of the Ontario schools. Very weird.
  7. Location: IP GPA: 3.91 CARS: 128 CASPER: 4th Is the chart any accurate? Seems too easy to get an interview based on it.
  8. Wow this guy is so good that someone got into next year's medical school class already!
  9. You can take any degree and apply to Med school. You need four semester courses of life science courses (biology, biochem, pathology, physiology, pharmacology, etc.). You need two semester courses of the social sciences or humanities. Usually, your degree will have breath requirements that fulfill these requirements anyways. I do not suggest going to UofT life sci if just to fulfill pre requisites or to have a better shot at UofT med. You can do any degree. GPA is king. I suggest you go to the easiest possible program that gives good grades but aligns with your interests. UofT life sci is know
  10. Thanks everyone! I will stick with the 128 then. I was originally thinking of retaking because most of the people on the McMaster Invite/Reject had a higher than 128 score so I was a little worried. 128 is definitely a blessing so I'm going to stick with it.
  11. Hi, I just got my MCAT score back and I got a 128 in cars! This was a retake from a 124 cars last year. I worked really hard to get this 128. However, my FLs were all at 130-131 range. I ran out of time on my real exam, and I believe that reflected with my drop to a 128. Should I risk another MCAT retake for a higher CARS score or just roll with the 128? My cGPA is 3.91. Ontario In province.
  12. Apply but don't expect anything. This can really be said for any Canadian Med School. Best of luck!
