  1. Just an FYI to anyone inquiring about U of T OT waitlist. I messaged admissions and they informed me that they are at capacity for the time being but that there may be small movement if any before the end of the week (before provisional become firm).
  2. Hi, I am just wondering what you mean when you say about your offer to western? What was your specific question! I just provisionally accepted western on ORPAS and was wondering if there were any other things I had to do before the 29th
  3. Definitely something to consider! Thank you for this, I guess i’m worried about PBL AT mac since I have never experienced it and it’s not something i’m used to! Congrats to your friends, I hope she is able to find some housing
  4. Hey i’m also having a tough time deciding between mac and western! The international opportunities at western are quite interesting & I have a lot of friends that have gone there and loved it so i’m definitely being swayed in that direction but would love to hear your opinions and discuss further pros and cons!
  5. Hey! I got into mcmaster and Western so my decision is slightly different than yours! However I did my undergrad at Queens so I would be willing to answer any questions you have about the school if you wanna PM me!!
  6. congrats on your acceptances!! Do you know which school you’re accepting? I’m currently trying to decide
  7. Thank you for that! definitely good to know:) What are your pros and cons for your options as of now??
  8. If you find one or make one, post it here! Excited to meet you
  9. No problem! I wish you the best!!!!! Where did you apply to/get accepted for?
  10. Do you know anything about u of t's waitlist or how much it moves?
  11. I LOVE that you said this because I saw the international opportunities on Westerns website as well and am for sure into this! That would be amazing and such a cool experience, I haven't seen anything like that at McMaster so far but I could be entirely wrong! Where were you accepted :))
  12. Hello! what were your stats like, if you don't mind me asking? I wish u of t would tell us where we were on the waitlist because it is my top choice as well! But, I think I will accept either McMaster or western in the meantime! Goodluck on getting of the waitlist for u of t!!!
  13. ALSO WONDERING if anyone has any insight into this! Where did you get in and which school are you thinking about accepting while you wait ?
  14. Hey! my s-gpa was 3.94 and c-gpa 3.81, I felt Casper went okay!!! I have work experience with a physician and at a physiotherapy clinic and volunteer experience at several rehab facilities, one of which was an OT setting. I also did research with a prof in my undergrad but unrelated to OT, I hope this helps!!
  15. Wow thankyou for this! really helpful:) Yeah I guess i’m sort of on the fence because I know mcmasters learning style is a little different and I am not sure how I would do with this!! I also remember the campus being really big at western going into my undergrad which was a little overwhelming but now that i’ve been to uni i’m sure I would figure it out!! I actually did my undergrad at Queens so if you have any questions about the school I can definitely answer them!! I didn’t get into Queens OT but, I likely would not have returned anyways because it was time for a change!
  16. Hello!! I got into Western and Mcmaster so I am deciding between the two and subconsciously leaning towards western right now. I think I agree with everything you're saying, I definitely think the smaller class size would be beneficial in terms of learning but I am not sure. I have heard that though U of T has good placements that they are really challenging and since they have high end hospitals they don't give the students as many hands on/more advanced opportunities. I could be wrong in saying that just what I have heard. Which are you leaning towards as of now? Congrats on the acceptances
  17. Hello! Wow this sounds like an amazing job opportunity! But also congrats on being accepted. If this were me, I believe personally I would attend school, I have always enjoyed school. I think that if you think long term, lets say you end up leaving this job, then you will have no masters and it may be harder to find future employment. I could be totally wrong in saying this but at least with choosing the schooling option you will have that extra education and hopefully always be able to find a job. Is there an opportunity to sort of stay in a good position with the job? Like maybe
