  1. did anyone get rejected or has not received anything yet?
  2. You are not alone... this is my third time as well with a 3.89 sGPA and I got rejected everywhere. I honestly don't know what more they want
  3. if you don't mind me asking. what makes you believe that you have a strong personal submission?
  4. has anyone been accepted, waitlisted, or rejected from McGill QY PT? I haven't hear anything from them
  5. I didn't get anything unfortunately. Was the email concerning acceptance/waitlist/rejection to the program?
  6. hey I applied for PT. just wondering when you hear from them?
  7. Nah, I haven't heard anything yet! hopefully soon though... all this waiting is getting to me.
  8. I'm sorry to hear that! I had a similar issue last year with dalhousie. They said one of my references was missing even though I asked my prof if he sent it in. Let me know if you find a solution. Best of luck to you!
  9. Well each school is slightly different. Besides uoft, the other PT school's put more emphasis on CASPer (don't quote me on that tho). So I might of not done the best on CASPer. Plus, for uoft 3.85 is pretty below average. Not saying that you can't get in with that, but you just have to do really good on the CAP exam. With the higher cutoffs for uoft, I'm expecting the average sgpa to be higher as well this year, but I could be wrong
  10. Well the first time I had a 3.76 or smt like that and I got rejected from everywhere. 2nd time I had a 3.85 and I barely made the waitlist in the Ontario school's. How was your sGPA if you don't mind me asking?
  11. Applied + (PT or OT?): All PT McGill qualifying year, McGill undergrad, UofT, Western, Queen'sAccepted:Waitlisted:Rejected:GPA: c-gpa: 3.79 and s-gpa: 3.89 Perceived strength of essays/interviews/references: essays were good. nothing crazy or special. had the CAP so far, but it's hard to say how that went. my professional reference was good. nothing more special than anyone else that volunteered and got a referent letter. my academic reference letter was meh. experience: I have around 200 hours volunteer work at a children's rehab centre, 500 hours volunteering at a PT/OT
