  1. Good luck - I'm rooting for you! P.s. The stress doesn't really end upon acceptance.....
  2. Just because everything is saturated, doesn't make the point of trying to lessen the trend any less valid.
  3. As much as I'd like to think the saturation issue isn't present - denial doesn't do myself or my future colleagues much favour. I'm glad to see more activity and discussion on this topic. Hopefully, we could start a momentum for change.
  4. If people are interested in having a unified voice, how about contacting your dental school's representatives from Federation of Canadian Dentistry Student Associations (FCDSA)? There is strength in numbers Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/fcdsa/?fref=nf
  5. i did the same and it was received by them. good luck!
  6. One principle: keep it simple, stupid!
  7. Also don't forget to factor in where you think you will be the most happy. Four years is a long time. Wishing you all the best
  8. I believe since 2012, the NBDE has become Pass/Fail and the score is not released and cannot be used for residency selection.
  9. What was your average in final year? Do you see yourself securing a 3.9 (90%) or higher? If so, you will have a shot at Western. Then the additional year of Masters will help with both Western and UofT. Based on your grade trajectory, I really think you have a great shot. And you won't know unless you try.....plus think about how much money you can earn in 2 years time with a bachelors degree, I'm not sure if it will make a dent in the tuition for abroad schools.
  10. I uploaded mine on May 17th and I believe it actually quickly said no action needed (like within a few days)
  11. For the Declaration and Signature Pages - if it says "No action required" under What to Do, does that means they have received it? Also, my Status tells me to check back in late July for information on funding....is this normal? I don't know when OSAP is usually released but that's cutting it pretty close (submitted my app mid-May).
