Hey folks, Any ideas on if any Canadian schools reject or frown upon taking an online course during undergrad? It happens to be a biochemistry course, which I know is a prereq for Ottawa. WIll this make any difference? Also, do these things matter for US schools, at least ones that accept Canadians?

I was wondering if someone who did his pre-university studies (Cégep) in Québec and applied to the University of Waterloo could answer some of my questions. I would like to apply to the program of optometry in Waterloo but I don't know who I have to contact to verify if the courses I completed fulfill the prerequisites necessary to be eligible to the program. If someone could help me go through the procedure it would be great! _______________________________________________________________________________ Je me demandais si quelqu'un qui a appliqué à l'Université de Waterl

Hi all! I have a question about the science prerequisites for McGill. I will be applying this coming year (for Fall 2019 admission) and I'm trying to get all the prerequisites completed. I will, however, only be able to take the second physics course next winter term (i.e. winter 2019) and I was wondering if that means I'm ineligible to apply? I know by then they will have sent invites for the interview. Since I will be enrolled in the course at the time, does that mean I can't even apply? Or is there a way they give conditional offers? Thank you!!

Hi guys, I'm about to start university. I applied to two programs in my city same major, but one starts Jan 2018 and one starts Sept 2018. Some dental schools use two or three full years for GPA calculation, and they say "Sept to April". If I were to start in Jan, would my "three years" be: Jan to April, Sept to April, Sept to April, Sept to Jan? Or my first semester "Jan to April" won't be used for calculation? Thank you!

Hello all, I know that uOttawa calculates your GPA using your last credits, but what happens if the prerequisite courses were taken in Y1 or Y2? Are they still counted in the sGPA just because they are prerequisites or are they simply marked as complete no matter what grade you got? I ask because I didn't do too well in anatomy, but it was taken in Y2 so I'm hoping it wouldn't be a big deal... Thanks! (Edit: The title's capital letters messed up on its own...)

Hi all, I sent an email to AED Med and I didn't get a clear response. I was wondering whether someone can clarify this for me: "Candidates applying to the MDCM program who have completed the seven required prerequiste courses and who have also completed introductory level university courses in molecular biology, cell biology, mammalian physiology and organic chemistry will be evaluated on whichever of the two is the most favourable to the candidate.” I've done all the prereqs in CEGEP and have done poorly. I've also done the mentioned courses above in university. So this brings me

Do you need to have 3.0 courses at the level corresponding to your current year of study? (ex: 3.0, third year courses, in your third year of study) If so, do they have to be courses from your module/ program or can they be outside your module/ program? Which GPA is used? Cumulative, or top 2 years, or most recent 2 years? And exactly how is it weighted/calculated?

Hi all, I did my basic prerequisite courses in CEGEP, and with the way the CEGEP system works at my school, you can get a really good grade (34) with 75% if the average is low enough. I wonder how McGill calculates the GPA equivalent for that. Do they simply take your numerical grade and convert it using their alphabetic scale? Or do they look at the CRC instead? There would be a HUGE discrepancy between the two in my case... Thanks!

Hi everyone! I was hoping to start a new forum for the class of future class of 2019 (I know it's alittle early haha). I am just in my second year of undergrad, and I am planning on applying for the class of 2019, even though I won't stand a chance. Soooooo, I was also hoping to get information on preparing for the interviews of UCVM and WCVM! I heard that the two universities have different format for the interview, so if anyone had more information, please share! MMI is another issue It could be just me having difficulties finding materials, but does anyone have any source that c
