I think either: - Yukon University - Northwest Territories (right in between Yukon and Nunavut, so only admit those in the Territories) (call it "MUTN"--Medical University of The North) - Kwantalen Polytechnic University (they're building a new hospital so it'd be a nice affiliation tbh) - A Canadian Armed Forces Medical School with a 5-10 year Return of Service Contract or something (similar to how in the States they have the, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences) . . . Hi, I'm still in high school and I'm looking at which "premed" program to apply to next year that focuses on preparing students for medicine. I know that any program is good as long as you can get a good GPA and high MCAT scores, but are they any specific programs (in Canada) that gear specifically towards premed? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am a medical student in a Canadian school and was wondering if anyone knew anything about or could point me towards some resources on what would happen and what I should consider if instead of doing my residency in Canada I go to the UK to do so. I received my bachelor's degree back in April 2018 and after 2 failed med school application cycles in Canada I turned to US MD and DO schools. I realized I am missing many prerequisite courses (i.e. English + some lab courses) and was looking into post-bacc programs that could help me get the missing credits and apply to the US. Are there any post-bacc programs (with labs, so assuming I cannot do online) that you guys would recommend? I've heard of a lot of shady programs so I'm looking for some feedback. Hi everyone! I need some advice on my options on applying to US medical schools. I've had a rough start to my undergrad, and hope someone (anyone) help me out, especially canadians who have gotten into US medical schools . I know that there is Western Medical Science which sends a lot of students to med other than health science, are there any other programs like these? I want to know this because I am in grade 12 and want to be a doctor. I want to take a bachelor's program which is science oriented while also giving me the best shot possible for med school. I wanted some peoples opinions on a situation that I am in. I've applied to medical school twice in Canada and have never gotten an interview. I have a cGPA of 3.90, an MCAT score of 515, I am a Canadian citizen and I have recently finished my Bachelor's at McGill University. I know I will not make it into Canadian dental schools due to the rough first year I had (due to major illness). I am a music major currently in my second year. My first year GPA was 2.4 (like I said, I was very sick), but first semester of this year, it was 3.3, which bumped my CGPA up to 2.74. Hey guys, I'm at a cross-road for where to go if I want to continue the dream of getting into med school. I really goofed up my first couple years leading to an ~3.4 GPA after 6 years (5 years of BioSci and 1 year Psyc minor). The last 2-3 years were decent with a respective 3.6, 3.96, 3.8 GPA. Unfortunately I can't seem to get over the MCAT hump having written 3 times with a 500, 501, and 502 scores. The last one (502) had a 126 in CARS so I decided to apply to UofC and UofA being from Alberta (although definitely not holding my breath). I have very good ECs including fluency in 3 languages, -

I am currently a U of Saskatchewan student (Canadian) and would like advice regarding premed as I am currently dealing with a low gpa for my first and second years of my degree. Hi everyone, I'm a Canadian student thinking about applying to American dental schools. I know the cost is absolutely crazy, and I will be overloaded with loans but I still want to know the GPAs that some people get in with. The class statistics of some schools like NYU range mostly between 3.30 - 3.90 , but that's not really specific. If any Canadians could share their gpa and the schools they got accepted to (in the US) it would be very helpful -
I am an international student with a 4 years Bachelors in Dental Surgery.I have worked in a clinical setting as a dentist for one year and now want to apply for a masters in public health. I feel I need more experience in public health field that would help me get admission in a competitive MPH program.
