  1. Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I am about to start studying for the MCAT and would like to know which books or preparation material is "best". Considering that many students have now written the 2015 MCAT and have also received their marks back, I would be so thankful for any advice they can offer. Those students who have done really well on the new MCAT are especially welcome! Thank you in advance.
  2. This book provides strategies on how to approach each section along with the comprehensive review . The book has No markings and is in brand new condition. I bought this book only for the practice exams ,so I didn't use the textbook at all. I will provide the online access for the full length exams and the online practice passages for each chapter that come with this book. well worth the price $ 50 !!
  3. Hey guys, I wrote the MCAT in April this year (a somewhat unnecessary endeavour as it turned out) and since there seems to be a lot of question about the new MCAT, I'm just making this post as a composite of all my PMs and posts on the subject in hopes of helping those who are studying get a better feel for the new sections of the exam. Do note that I wrote the exam more than 2 months ago and I do not remember much of it anymore so this post is skewed by parts of the test that stuck out for me. BIOCHEM: know thy amino acids!! Know the 3 letter and 1 letter codes. Know it well and be
  4. Hey premeds, I've decided to take the test in the next spring so i'll be taking the new MCAT, call me stupid or ignorant, but I completly forgot about what books I would be using for the 2015 MCAT. Since there are not many reviews by the buyers of the Books available, I want to ask you guys your views. Since i'm a Princeton review fanguy(I used it for my SATs and I got a 2150 in just 3 months of preperation), i'd like to go with princeton review but i've heard there hasn't been much editing to the common syllabi of the old and new MCATs. Also i've heard that new kaplan has quite a few errors
  5. Hey everyone, I've been a MCAT prep instructor for a couple years now, and I recently have been running sessions on the changes coming to the MCAT starting in 2015. I'm in no way directly involved in the creation of the new MCAT, or any MCAT prep materials, but I thought I would offer myself up to answer any questions you might have. I'm not saying I know everything, but I'd love to help out if I can! Something I want to clarify right off the bat is that I know this change is scary for a lot of people. The MCAT is getting a lot longer, the topics on it are changing, and there is
  6. Where will the "old" MCAT be acceptable in the next 2-3 years? I am doing the exam this winter, and was wondering where will I be able to apply, [since I'm not applying to med school next year]. Thank you for the replies.
