Hi guys! Congratulations to those who got in! For those who got waitlisted and got rejected, it's not the end! Just curious about the stats this year so please feel free to share if you feel like it! Include your (1) DAT SCORE including AA and PAT, (2) GPA with lowest year dropped, and (3) Year / whether or not you took Masters.

When I submitted my application to U of C back in October as a current MSc student, I had discussed a timeline with my supervisor and committee that was feasible (albeit tight) to finish in time if I was accepted. However, now I have an interview, but there have been a lot of setbacks with my research and I don't know if I would be able to finish my research, write and defend my thesis, and have my degree conferred (and move!) in time to start in July. I am working with my supervisor to make it happen, and there is obviously no guarantee of acceptance at this point - but in advance I wanted to know if people thought it would be a "death sentence" if I ended up with an admissions offer and had to decline in order to finish my masters thesis? It's important to me that I finish my research, but I want to know if people thought U of C would look down on declining an offer of admissions and then reapplying the following year? I don't know what to do here.

Hey guys - just realized I may have screwed my chances at medical school. I applied to queens and western. My third and fourth years are the 3.88 and 3.87 respectively. I did a fifth year in 2020 and took three courses, which was my biggest, dumbest mistake because I ended up with a calculated 3.5 gpa here. I am terrified Queens will take this year and my fourth year as my last two, leaving me at a 3.68 gpa. Have I screwed myself over?

Admission 2021 MD UofOttawa
Dreamcatcheer posted a topic in Non-Traditional Applicants/Grad Students
Hi, I would have some questions for the admission in MD in the University of Ottawa. I am currently a university student in Quebec so I would like to apply in the French stream of the MD program next year. Our province was highly touched with Covid-19 so our universities gave us the right to apply to the Pass/Fail option in our winter 2020 classes. As mentioned in the admission criteria of UofOttawa, to be eligible, only one class Pass/Fail per semester is allowed. Is this rule still applicable with the circumstances of covid-19 for next year admissions? Also, I've changed programs in university and has been given the choice of crediting some of my classes. Considering the fact that I already have one class pass/fail in my current program and one class that I would like to credit from my old program ( credited as equivalent (EQV)), would I stil be eligible to apply ? Thank you in advance!:)-
