  1. Hello everyone I need help choosing a university that will offer me better opportunities for grad schools. I'm hearing so much different things from everywhere, so I thought i'd ask here. I was wondering which program/university of these would be better for med school in terms of networking, opportunities (research/volunteer/clubs), gpa? They both seem to have their pros and cons, but I am stuck between them. Thank you so much, in advance! ---- Both will cost the same for me in the long run and I'm going to have to get some part-time jobs near the universities to help me pa
  2. Hi, I am a high school student who wants to go to med school (yes, I know how corny this sounds), and I LIKE BOTH OF THESE COURSES EQUALLY and can't choose between them. So, I would like to know which course is easier to get a high GPA in, while also having time for ECs and completing prerequisites for med school. I have heard that in health sci you have to take med prerequisites as your electives (is that a hassle?), and you might not be as prepared for the MCAT as a biomed student (is this true?). Also, I have heard that biomedical science is harder, so to make it easier you can take health

How does it stack up to other 'commuting' uni programs such York kin in terms of attaining a high GPA? Although I am aware that this all depends on the student, we all have heard of the so called rankings in difficulty for science programs at universities. I'd also like to ask any current students how they found their courses and prof's at this program? Any thing in particular that really sucked? Is the one semester of mandatory p
  4. Hi, I'm sorry if this is the wrong section of the forums but I wanted ask about the Biomedical Science program (specifically at York) I've been looking around a lot and noticed that Biomedical science seems to be a good choice for a "pre-med" undergrad but I wanted to get some more information. I have read previous discussions about the topic but can't find anything as recent or that answer the questions I have. My initial question is with a degree from the Biomedical program at York what else can I do with this degree; as in what other fields of medicine can this go to - dentistry
