With early acceptances out I'd thought I'd start this thread. Result: IP/OOP: GPA: DAT: Interview:

Hi everyone, I am doing a small (very short) survey on loupe magnification used by dental students/dentists/specialists. It's just to have an idea of the loupe magnification that people in the field like to use for general treatments (a little bit of everything). The survey is literally 3 questions (multiple choice) so it's very quick and it would help me out a lot. Thank you! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdkIfSYGrlb4x9Zs3QFUZODdnzFAK9gGGYENyuYFSw7BDBj_A/viewform?usp=sf_link PS: I am not an employee for a loupe selling company.

Hi everyone, seeing as admissions has informed me that letters will be sent out “tomorrow at the latest,” I figured it’s that time of year again: status: cGPA: DAT: Self-perceived interview thoughts: regardless of the outcome guys, we came a long way and that’s something admirable!

Anyone else suspects invites would come out by the end of today ? Last year, they said end of of Feb, yet we got the invites on the 10th. This year, they said mid January and it’s either this Friday or next Friday imo, given that invites are traditionally released on a Friday, just minutes before 5 pm ... Any input on this ?

Hey Guys, Any thoughts on today’s DAT ? Imo, Bio and Chem were just fine, no surprises, though a few tricky Qs here and there... PAT: Aperture was borderline-hard for me, TFE, there were too many similar answer choices, overall not too bad. The rest of them weren’t that bad. RCT: Wtf was going on with the first and last passage ? I guessed on a bunch and didn’t have time to properly answer Qs on the last passage, guess got wrecked lol

Hi, I'm a high school student applying for university. I am a US citizen and plan to work in the US as a dentist. My question is that if I earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) not a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) outside of the US and Canada will I have to attend university for an internationally trained dentist program afterwards, or can I just do the license exam NBDE and immediately work as a dentist in the US? Any help would be appreciated.

This is a little different question: I am thinking to do complete a BDS as my undergrad instead of a science undergrad before applying for a DDS program in Canada/US. Is there any problems I would face in doing so? Will I have to go through extra license exams and processes? So it would be 5 years of a BDS and doing the DAT then 4 years of a DDS then licensing exam The reason I'm thinking to do a BDS undergrad instead of a science undergrad is because with a BDS degree I can still find employment with better pay outside of US/Canada compared to a job with my science degree anywhere is the world. (This is my backup, because I don't feel like a science degree would be a good backup)

Hey Guys, This is for a friend of mine: She has a GPA of around 3.7+, with the adjustment for the worst year drop and everything. She also has done a course-based masters for two years, at the end of which, she's done her Thesis. Her GPA for the grad school is 3.85. Can anyone shed light on what her chances are for her to get an interview invite from UofT ? Is this 0.2 bonus real ? Any comment would be highly appreciated.
