Hello, I'm posting this on behalf of my girlfriend. My girlfriend got accepted to Colorado's School of Medicine. Her MCAT is about 512. As a Canadian, she was not able to find any scholarships in the US and so applied for a line of credit in Canada with Bank of Montreal (BMO). Hey, does anyone know how OSAP works for med students now? I heard there were some revamps of the system for med students (how they were previously ineligible for 30% off, etc.)? I know OSAP is income-dependent aid so it varies. But, what is the average aid available for med students do you guys don't mind sharing. I am just trying to gauge my finances over the course of med school and see how much loans I need to draw on to complement. Just want to have a rough idea of my finances going in so I can budget myself. Thanks guys!

Hi All, How does one most effectively finance Dental school expenses (tuition+living). From what I have read so far it seems that people are taking out LOCs. Although banks generally offer lower rates on LOCs vs traditional loans, I still feel that it may be very difficult to pay off the ever-increasing monhtly compounded interest. Are there other forms of financial aid that one can apply to (e.g. government loans/bursaries)? Any advice is appreciated
