Hello, I want to have advice from someone who is in medschool or heard about someone in medschool. I would like to know if it is realistic to have a job while going in first year of medical school. I got accepted and now I have to think about either keeping my job during academic year or not. It is a job where I work saturday and sunday (8 hours) on the weekend. Thank you

Good morning, I work as a hospital clerk. I have a main floor where I work often, but during summer, I go on other floors that are quite different. Ex: telemety, surgery, etc. Should I include a work experience for each one of them instead of all putting under one experience? Because I worked at many floors, I can't even say all the specifities of each floor under one experience, because of the word count... Thank you for your help

As a recent grad newly starting off in the professional world (~3 months in), I'm in a bit of an awkward situation with this year's medical school applications. My position is ongoing - full training for this position takes about a year. While I am not on any sort of contract, the unspoken expectation is that this is a long term position (at least 2-3 years?). As many schools ask you to have your direct supervisor/boss listed as a verifier for paid job positions, I'm wondering what options I have here. Would it be too much of a stretch to list a senior coworker who is involved in training

I was just hoping to get some advice about this. I am planning on writing my MCAT next summer (first attempt) and I would like to dedicate my summer (3-4 months) on studying for it and practicing as much as I can. However, it dawns on me that I may not be able to maintain a summer job this way, nor dedicate myself to a volunteer position as a regular volunteer. I have heard about people who have balanced studying and other things before, but I would like to devote as much time as I can in one summer term, rather than having to repeat it because of divided responsibilities. Would you recommend

I'm currently a prospective physiotherapy or occupational therapy student in BC (still haven't decided which one I want to pursue). As someone who is pursuing a drastic career change, I don't really know much about these careers in terms of supply, demand, etc. Before I really invest in my decision of wanting to pursue these careers, I'm curious to know what are your guys' opinions on what the job prospects look like for new/recent grads (particularly BC and Canada in general?). Are there any PT's/OT's here that can attest to what the situation is like now and how it may look like in
